These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the AstroGuru mobile application (the "App"), published by AppWala ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
AstroGuru provides Vedic astrology tools, including birth chart (Kundli) generation, Ashtakoota Guna Milan compatibility (matchmaking) reports, daily Panchang (almanac) information, and AI-generated astrological readings, based on birth details you provide.
Astrology is a belief system, not a scientifically validated practice. Content in the App — including birth charts, compatibility scores, panchang data, and AI-generated readings — is provided for entertainment and general informational purposes only. It is not, and should not be treated as, medical, legal, financial, psychological, or professional advice of any kind. Do not make significant life, health, financial, or relationship decisions based solely on content from this App. Always seek the advice of a qualified professional for matters requiring expert judgment.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you should use the App only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
Birth chart, matchmaking, and reading results depend entirely on the date, time, and place of birth you enter. We do not verify the accuracy of information you provide, and we are not responsible for incorrect results caused by inaccurate or incomplete input.
The App's "AI Reading" feature uses a third-party AI model to generate a natural-language interpretation of your birth chart. AI-generated content may be incomplete, generic, or occasionally inaccurate, and does not represent professional astrological, psychological, or life-coaching advice. From time to time this feature may be temporarily unavailable due to demand on the underlying AI service; in that case, you may be asked to try again later.
The App is supported by advertising served through Google AdMob. By using the App, you agree to the display of ads, including full-screen ads shown at natural transition points (such as opening the app or navigating between features). See our Privacy Policy for details on data collected for advertising purposes.
The App relies on third-party services (including our backend astrology-calculation service, OpenStreetMap Nominatim, Open-Meteo, Google AdMob, and Google/Apple app store services for update checks) to function. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or performance of these third-party services, and their use is additionally subject to their own respective terms and privacy policies.
The App, including its design, branding, and original content (excluding third-party content and data you submit), is owned by AppWala and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the App except as permitted by applicable law.

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AppWala and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App — including decisions made in reliance on astrological content or AI-generated readings.
We may suspend or discontinue the App, or any feature of it, at any time. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
